KYKKOS Natural Mineral Water is known for its committed social action on environmental issues. Since 2013, through our own initiative we undertook the reforestation through tree planting of the entire Kykkos forest. This year, continuing the actions launched in 2021, and with a slogan “Giving new life”, we give priority to the people, by supporting for yet another year the work of Thermokitida Agapis.

Every year, an estimated 15 million babies are born preterm across the world. Cyprus ranks first in the European Union with a preterm birth rate of 11,1% whilst the rate for preterm births in the rest of the EU is at 8,7%.

The Foundation is a continuation of the Association of Friends of the Cyprus Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and is a non-governmental organisation founded in 2011. It aims at raising awareness on premature births as well as other causes that might lead to the hospitalisation of a newborn at the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Also, it aims at providing support for the newborns, their parents and the Unit’s healthcare workers.
